Huh, What time is it anyway?

It is quite late for me to be up writing this, but from a little bit of caffeine here I am. There have been a plethora of tantrums thrown by both kiddos, but there have been many guffaws and chortles and snorts and laughter. Munchkin A's latest laughing spree is caused by the video on YouTube of a panda bear cub sneezing and making the parent jump out of her furry black and white hide... Well, almost. If he hears it from the other side of the room, he starts to laugh and hustles and bustles over to the laptop to watch and screech in laughter. It never gets old...

Miss E.'s been into books and any chance you have, she's pushing a book into your hands and saying please, in the most adorable little girl way of saying please. Her growth rate is phenomenal and I think we might take her in for some radiation testing. She is just growing way too fast and we aren't sure how it's happening... One downside to her growing up is that she has to eat anything that we adults are eating, perhaps in the chance that she could be like Alice, in "Alice in Wonderland" and magically grow to adult size. If she spots you, she charges over to where you're at in a crawl that might break the record for the 100 meter dash and begins to say "bite please," while crawling up your leg!

A and E both saw the fireworks show here and were both so tired, we're not sure how much they enjoyed it. Where we were at also had an echo with each explosion and the larger booming ones made A a little nervous. Tonight, we did a few of our little fireworks for the wee ones. A wanted out to run around, but with him in his pajama's and recreational detonation of explosives, we thought it better to keep him confined to his captains chair in the double stroller. E had a blast with the sparkler she was given while in grandma's arms while A was unsure. You can toss him in the air and there are no worries, but give him something loud, or fast moving and he shy's away from it.

They both had a blast on their first trip together in the wild outdoors. E successfully scared every piece of dust and rock in a... well... 30 feet radius. She also learned how to grow a dirt goatee quite successfully. A found it quite fun to walk all over the place, around camp, around Bath Rock and even down to the outhouses there. There was also his matter of safety for the tents and tarps. We believe he was concerned about a gust of wind taking the tents clear to kingdom come or somewhere else. In an effort to alleviate this problem, he took handfuls of sand from the tent area and proceeded to add the weight of the sand to the tarps and tents. Such a little genius he is, and so thoughtful!

The summer has been quite blissful as well for me. It's been going along nice and slow to allow some rest and relaxation and time with the family. I enjoy this time and not stressing over school and assignments bla bla bla bla bla... Next semester, I will have to do much studying and preparation and beloved practice in a scuba diving class. That will be the toughest 1.5 credit hours yet! I was taking a compass and map reading class, but the field trip day was overwritten by Gette's sisters wedding. I must admit, I've been studying a little on my off time. I just can't seem to get enough of it, and to top it all off, it's College Algebra, the story problems! DUH DUH DUUUUHHHH!!!!!

Gette's being uncreative when it comes to her, so I will add a little ditty. While experiencing much fatigue from running through my mind all day, she's still hard at work cooking a little one to arrive sometime in December. She also survived the camping trip and was quite a trooper too! We did a little star gazing one night and took turns chasing after and walking with the kiddos. There is a little growth in her midsection which is good and we've heard the little heartbeat a few times. While it kinda freaks me out wondering what it would be like to carry a baby, she's started to feel something wiggling down there. Right now, she's entertaining herself by doing a French braid in her hair without a mirror! She's going wild and crazy!

And on that note, I think it's been a day! Tomorrow brings more work... *sigh*

Wha? Five Months! Time for a Quick Update!

Uh...yeah, I can hardly believe that it's been nearly five months since we have updated this blog. Oops! Andrew is now two years old and Emmalee will be having her 1st birthday on the 27th of this month. I am truly in awe of how quickly the time has passed! We are now also expecting our third little blessing on December 30, 2010. Murray is home on Summer Vacation and we are taking full advantage of him having his evenings and most of the weekends off. We went up camping in the City of Rocks near Almo, Idaho a couple weekends ago and had a blast! This last weekend we went down to Manti and thanks to Grandma Whitehead, Murray and I were able to go and take in an Endowment session at the Manti Temple...AWESOME!!! We spent the day in Manti and attended the Mormon Miracle Pageant in the evening. We were throughly exhausted by the time we got back home at 3am on Sunday morning, but it was well worth it. We are gearing up for a fun filled Fourth of July weekend complete with Parades, Fireworks and a BBQ! Should be fun! Any way it's late and I should get some sleep as I have two very active munchkins to keep up with tomorrow...and I will do my best to keep this blog updated! :-)
